Quad Grifters byHarrow

Every one of them is the same flat #ccff00 until somebody looks at it. I'm not going to pretend that was a lot of work. It was.

The wall

All 4444, asleep. This is the collection in a marketplace grid, in a folder, on a timeline. It looks like one colour because it is one colour. Point at one to wake it.

Arrange

Four things, then I'll leave you alone

01 — THEY LOOK LIKE NOTHING

That's the expensive part. Screenshot one. Congratulations. You have a square.

No border, no logo, no signature, no number in the corner. At rest they are indistinguishable and that is the entire piece.

02 — NOBODY ROLLED THESE

A number went in. A picture came out. Same picture every time, forever, for anyone who bothers to check.

I couldn't rig it if I wanted to. I did want to.

03 — NOTHING IS FETCHED

The drawing, the colours, the timing — the contract builds all of it and hands it back as text. No image host. No pinning service. No folder on a server somebody keeps paying for.

There is no version of this that goes dark.

04 — NO TWO ARE THE SAME

Not "unlikely". Not "we checked". Every quad's Turn comes from a one-to-one map off its mint number, so two quads landing on the same piece is arithmetically impossible.

Rare traits, rare combinations, zero duplicates.

How you take one off me

All 4444 are given away. The only thing between you and one is whether you turn up. The rule is mechanical. Nobody picks a winner, including me.

01

Hold a low index

Originals #1–4444. One quad for every one you're holding. Hold sixty, take sixty.

02

The list is alive

It gets taken somewhere in the last thirty minutes. I'm not telling you when. Could be at thirty, could be at one. Don't buy too late. Don't sell too early. That's the whole of the advice.

03

4 hours, 44 minutes

Free. You cover gas. Turn up and you can take every last one. I won't be awake and I won't be extending it.

04

Then half off

Whatever nobody wanted goes to mint at 0.0022. Half of 0.0044. No second list, no extension, no quiet re-run for people who overslept.

Three of the originals are in dead wallets. 4441 is the most that can ever be claimed. The supply tells the truth either way — a quad nobody claims and nobody buys is simply never minted.

Chroma

Every quad mints holding one. It won't necessarily keep it.

WHAT IT IS

A chroma is the colour a quad has to work with. It sets Carry — two, three, five or seven colours in the journey. Seven is the rare one and the hunted one.

WHAT IT ISN'T

It isn't the quad. Your Type, Strain, Motion, Tempo and the rest are welded to your mint number and nobody can take them. Identity is permanent. Wealth is contested.

THE GRIFT

Quads that go quiet get robbed by quads that don't. No fee, no odds, no dice — it's a game of attention. Hold up to four; the best one governs and the spares are insurance.

A SWATCH

A quad with nothing left stops waking up. Flat forever, until it takes one back. Yes that's the point. Yes I told you.

The ledger

Not a claim. This page just ran all 4444 numbers through the same maths the contract uses and counted what came out. Do it yourself and get the same answer.
